First Camera
I just bought my first DSLR camera.
I bought it mainly to shoot video, but nothing says I can’t take a few photos too. In fact, here’s one now:

For the first time in a long time I created something that is worthy of being added to my portfolio. In fact, to mark this momentous occasion, I actually created a portfolio. Being ever the perfectionist, there are a lot of things that I would do differently if I were making something like this again. I’m not a very visual person, so layout and typesetting and things that I have some trouble with. More practice should help me feel better about design in general. This set of flyers covers some new web technologies including posterous, twitter, pixlr, and dimdim. There’s probably something in that list that you haven’t seen. Take a minute to check it out, because all of the apps are pretty cool.

Oh, and Windows Movie Maker. Not as cool, but PC folks want to edit video too.
